The Charleston, South Carolina Coastal SCORE Chapter was founded over 20 years ago, and now has over 50 counselors experienced in a wide variety of businesses and in all phases of small business start-up and operations
We have several great locations to serve our clients:

- Hours are: 10AM - 2PM M/F (No Appointment Necessary)
- The Greater Summerville, Dorchester County Chamber
of Commerce (Summerville)
- Hours are By Appointment Only
- Berkeley County Public Library (Moncks Corner)
- Hours are: 10AM - 2PM (Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday - No Appointment Necessary)
- Other times by By Appointment Only
- Charleston County Public Libary (Downtown Charleston Main Branch)
- Hours are: 10AM - 2PM (Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday - No Appointment Necessary)
The chapter counsels over 1,000 new and existing clients annually in nearly every business industry type, primarily in Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley Counties. Charleston SCORE also partners with local banks, business services and non-profit groups to make sure small business have access to all the help they need.
Our Mission
The mission of Charleston Coastal SCORE Chapter is to provide professional management assistance to small businesses through the voluntary service of its members, who freely give of their knowledge, expertise and experience, with the ultimate goal of improving the economy and community which we serve.
SCORE Speaker's Bureau
SCORE have an expanded list of well-informed speakers who are available to talk to your organization. Our speakers are professionals who can update your group on SCORE activities and share their expertise with your organization. Some of the topics we speak about are;

National SCORE Association
SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a non-profit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Established in 1964, SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories with over 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working, retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors.
